I wanted to start a: "My worth in God series" because I wanted to share how important God sees us. I choose to start this picture because this is a picture of me at the beach and I will talk about this later in another post.
A friend of mine took this picture when we got to seal beach, there was this cave and so we decided to take pictures in the cave, after traveling from the beach to the cave I was tired and after I took my hair down my friend took the picture, to me, the way I look in this picture I am tired and trying to rest from traveling in the rocks, but on the other hand I love this picture because of my hair, I LOVE how it shines, I know I must sound vain but don't we look at certain things to show how we look on camera? I know I do, but God sees the deeper part, the part that no one else sees....
Day 1 in: "My worth in God..."
He created me in His image:
Gen 1:27 (the mess) God spoke: "Let us make human beings in our image, make them
reflecting our nature So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth." God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God's nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: "Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth."
** Note ** I like the message version of the bible because in this scripture it talking about reflecting God's nature, I like that because regardless of how we look on the outside are we reflecting God's image on the inside.
He is with me:
Gen 28:15 (the amp) "And behold, I am with you and will keep (watch over you with care, take notice of) you wherever you may go, and I will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done all of which I have told you."
** Note **
Here is another scripture in the amplified version of the bible. God will take care of us no matter what were going through in life, He will be with us.
He blesses me
Gen 49:25 (the amp)
"By the God of your father, Who will help you, and by the Almighty, Who will bless you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings lying in the deep beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. "
** Note **
God blesses you with blessings from heavens above!
He intends good for me
Gen 50:20 (the amp)
"As for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about that many people should be kept alive, as they are this day."
** Note **
What ever happens in your life whether good or bad, God intends for it to be for our good!
He is concerned about me
Ex. 4:31 (NKJV)
"And the people believed; and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that He had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped."
** Note **
This scripture says He looked upon their affliction... God LVOEs us soo much and is concerned about His children, like a parent is concerned about their child when they come home from school upset as a parent you are concerned about your child.
Look forward to next week on more " My worth in God..."

In celebration of Memorial Day, I made a simple red, white and blue theme of a delicious fruit salad made with coconut whipped cream!
Here is a glass cup that I got at the store for .96 and I LOVED it, I was so excited!
Here I added cinnamon for more added flavor in the fruit cup, My husband also LOVED it and He doesn't even like healthy recipes, so I have to work him in little by little! Here is where I saw the recipe!!
Red, White, and Blue Fruit Cups
Yields: 4 servings
2 cans coconut milk, chilled
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 cups blue and red mixed berries
(ex: I had blue grapes and strawberries on hand)
Spoon the cream from the can of coconut milk into a large mixing bowl, leaving the liquid behind.
Beat coconut cream and powdered sugar until whipped and fluffy with an electric hand mixer.
Divide the mixed berries between 4 serving ramekins. Dollop the white fully whipped coconut cream atop the very berry bliss and ENJOY!!

After writing my summer activity list, a women from my church gave me information after I eplained to her that I had a strong desire to work or volunteer. Currently after moving from SC to CA Im not working which is ok because God has me right here for a reason and God's plan is ALWAYS better than our plan.
She gave me this magazine from focus on the family called: Thriving family. In the magazine it gave interesting activities you can do with your children that can help you explain how to make scriptures in the bible real to them. This magazine helps in seeing every day as an opportunity to guide your kids in their faith and connect in meaningful ways. You can sign up and download the activity here!
This quote here I found on face book which reminded me of what I am doing as a parent.
Proverbs 22:6 (amp)
"Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Activity: Fill a bucket with water, and churn with one hand. Take turns dipping hands into the resulting whirlpool, noting how it’s easier to move “with the flow” than to go the other way. Explain that it’s often easier to follow others, but obeying God sometimes means we must go against the flow
Romans 12:2 (amp) "Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]."
Note: I LOVE! this scripture this is one of my many favorite scriptures. I also LOVE using the amplified version of the bible too because it makes it real for me! Examples such as this can help me in making God's word real for my children.
Here is another example:
Activity: In the warmth of the afternoon sun, have fun washing the car—and soaking each other—with the garden hose. As you enjoy the work, discuss how great it feels to take care of the things God has given you
Matthew 25:14-29 (amp) "14 For it is like a man who was about to take a long journey, and he called his servants together and entrusted them with his property. 15 To one he gave five talents [probably about $5,000], to another two, to another one—to each in proportion to his own personal ability. Then he departed and left the country. 16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he gained five talents more. 17 And likewise he who had received the two talents—he also gained two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. 19 Now after a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came and brought him five more, saying, Master, you entrusted to me five talents; see, here I have gained five talents more. 21 His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the blessedness) which your master enjoys. 22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, Master, you entrusted two talents to me; here I have gained two talents more. 23 His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the blessedness) which your master enjoys. 24 He who had received one talent also came forward, saying, Master, I knew you to be a harsh and hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you had not winnowed [the grain]. 25 So I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is your own. 26 But his master answered him, You wicked and lazy and idle servant! Did you indeed know that I reap where I have not sowed and gather [grain] where I have not winnowed? 27 Then you should have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent away from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will be furnished richly so that he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have will be taken away."
I Like this one because stories like this, my children and I can have discussions. Each day you can make activities this summer meaningful for you and your children, helping their walk with God and as well as yours.
I just wanted to give everyone an update on my pregnancy. I had a miscarriage last week, everything is OK my husband and I are a little sad more him than me, I'm starting to move past it, We both know that God is good, He had been so good in our life and He has been too good to us for us to stop and doubt HIM, We know that God is going to bless us with a child, so HIS timing is better than ours!
I had a hard time deciding whether or not to write this because its embarrassing to talk about being so happy being pregnant and then when you experience this it gets hard to tell people because of feeling embarrassed. Talking to other women about the experience has really helped me and talking with God. This information Here has also helped me dealing with this experience.
At one point I was mad about it, but knowing that God knows best has helped me get through it. If your still reading this at the end, I just want to thank you just for reading and if you experienced something like this it would be helpful if you shared on what happened and how you dealt with it.
I still have a strong desire to have a child and I look forward to God blessing me with a child. Thank You everyone for your prayers!
